When I was looking to purchase a house and found one I thought might be suitable, I was fortunate to meet Ingrid who was the real estate agent. Fortunate, I say, because I was not entirely sure that I wanted to be in Tauranga. Ingrid never pressured me which would have made me back off, but she read me correctly. Such a gift is so good and necessary for a real estate agent.

Throughout our dealings she displayed it continuously. Of course I came round to buying! Again Ingrid showed her great skill and ability as she took me, and my family, through the purchasing of the property, explaining all rules and regulations surrounding real estate buying today. She made everything clear and understandable and answered our questions and concerns with patience and good humour. My family were anxious that all would go well for their 80 year old mother! I feel fortunate to have engaged Ingrid to sell my home. She brought with her an air of professionalism and friendliness, she was upfront and to the point with absolutely no waffle, my sort of person….

We have all had a bad experience with pushy salespeople, Ingrid breaks that mould by bringing a straight forward factual approach without being pushy. She knows her market, every week she was informing me what my competition was and what had sold in the area. In a down market that isn’t always the news you want to necessarily hear – but what you need to hear. Ingrid supplied me with the facts and let me make my own decisions.

I had tried to sell my property 12 months prior and, unfortunately for me the market had stepped back by the time I tried to sell again. Ingrid achieved a sale for me that allowed me to move forward, while licking my wounds it was what I wanted and I have no regrets. It was the market that dictated the sale price and if your agent is doing their job correctly, as Ingrid did, you don’t feel hard done by at the end of the process. I have always felt that if you make a decision in your own mind, you should never have any regrets, if that decision is forced on you, you will always have regrets. At no stage in the sale process did I feel forced into anything.

We first meet Ingrid at an open home that she was holding which we later purchased at 211a Papamoa Beach Rd. We found Ingrid to be very helpful and informative about the property, following us up several days later to see what we thought. We ended up going back several times to look at it again prior to purchasing it and Ingrid was very accommodating with us around our busy schedules.

We didn’t end up purchasing the property at the auction but put in a conditional offer after wards, which her clients accepted. This meant having building inspections done etc, which Ingrid made herself available to meet these people, letting them in and staying there whilst they were doing their inspections as the owners did not live there.

After the inspections there were a number of issues that needed sorting and Ingrid put it on her self to get hold of the trades people required to get these things sorted then following up with them whilst keeping us informed on progress at the same time. This also meant going around there each time the trades people required access to the house, which would have taken up a lot of her time.

Ingrids vendors were so lucky to have her as their agent and I would recommend Ingrid as an agent especially if you were thinking of listing your property.
